Outdoor Preschool

Beginning fall of 2025, The Island School is thrilled to be offering a half-day outdoor preschool program for children ages 3 to 5 years old.
Situated on a corner of our forested property, our Outdoor Preschool features experienced staff, developmentally engaging program and connections with our elementary community.
Play-Based Learning
Children discover and grow through joyful, hands-on exploration that sparks curiosity and creativity.
Environmental Stewardship
Children build a lifelong respect for nature by learning to care for the world around them.
Whole-Child Development
We nurture every aspect of a child’s growth—social, emotional, physical, and cognitive—for a strong foundation in life.

Enrollment & Tuition Options
All programs run from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Drop-off is between 8:45 and 9:00, and pick-up is between 12:45 and 1:00.

Two-Day (Tuesday & Thursday) $375/month

Student Enrollment Requirements
Upon the first day of attendance, all students must be:

Any unexpected closures or delayed starts will be communicated by staff via Brightwheel and email.
