Before & After Care
A place where discovery, collaboration and imagination meet.
The purpose of Extended Day is to expand upon The Island School philosophy of providing a place beyond the regular school day where it is safe for children to risk, to learn and to dream.

There are three sessions each year. The first session runs from September through Winter Break, the second session runs from January until Spring Break, and the final session runs April through the end of the year.
Morning Care
Morning Care is available every day starting at 7:30am. During this time children play games, complete puzzles, and other quiet activities before the school day begins.
Extended Day
The Extended Day Program is offered from 3:20 to 5:00pm (4:00pm on Fridays) for Kindergarten through fifth grade. Students play and socialize in mixed age groups. Our Extended Day staff also lead structured projects and activities throughout the year.
Conference Camps
For Parent-Teacher Conference Days, we offer play-based full and half-day conference camps. The front office announces sign-ups for camps throughout the year via the weekly Review Preview school newsletter.
